1 February 2010: Galway conference hits positive note on investment

A conference in Galway will hear today how there are still investment opportunities, despite the recession. The Halo Business Angel Partnership is hosting the event for private investors - or 'Business Angels' - to encourage them to invest money in fledgling companies in the Border, Midlands and West. Director of WestVic Joe Greany said: "There's excitement in getting involved with a small Irish company with good growth prospects." WestVic is one of the Irish Business and Innovation Centre partners.
