It has today been announced the Irish Cancer Society are setting up six new Daffodil Centres across the country over the next year.

The charity organisation has confirmed that it will be investing €3.6 million in the new centres, which provide cancer sufferers and their families with support and information. They currently operate in seven hospitals nationwide.

The new investment will see new centres at six more hospitals, which will be staffed by specialist nurses and volunteers.
