Conal joined Brightwater’s Sales Division in October 2016 where he is responsible for recruiting sales professionals across a wide range of sectors in the Leinster region. Prior to starting his recruitment career, Conal worked for several years in the retail sector.

Ian Donnelly;

Senior Recruitment Consultant - IT

Catching the worm on a daily basis, Ian’s enthusiastic self is consistently here at the crack of dawn. We guess someone just can’t get enough of I.T recruitment!

Ian has over 10 years’ multi industry experience in recruitment, through which he has gained ample knowledge in how to deliver the best talent on the market for his clients. Ian joined Brightwater’s IT division in January 2015 where he recruits for IT staff for both SME and enterprise customers but with a particular focus on cyber security.

Conor Bannon

Manager - Engineering

We reckon that this sparky star has kissed the Blarney Stone religiously because we simply can’t get him off the phone. With an innate ability to use the gift of the gab, Conor's phone time has exceeded that of any BW employee! Talk about talking the talk!

With a BA in History & Economics and a sales & recruitment background, Conor joined Brightwater in November 2015 as a recruitment consultant. In July 2019 he was promoted to Manager of the division where he oversees a team recruiting for multiple roles across the engineering sector on behalf of clients ranging from SMEs to multinationals.

Sarah MacNulty

Senior Consultant – Marketing

Sarah’s ‘stellar’ performance having switched from Business Support to Marketing recruitment has showcased her incredible ability to seamlessly adapt to different roles. A star in our eyes!

Sarah graduated from IADT with a Bachelor of Business and Enterprise, Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. She worked in retail for a number of years before moving into recruitment. Sarah joined the Brightwater Group in May 2016 as a recruitment consultant and has since been promoted to Senior Consultant and now specialises in marketing recruitment across a wide range of sectors.

Brendan McCarron

Principal Recruiter – Accountancy (Industry & Commerce)

Our own Michael Flatley, Brendan has effortlessly re-‘jigged’ his role from HR to Accounting recruitment and, in doing so, high'lighted’ what it means to be an exemplary BW star!

Brendan's incredibly varied background includes gaining a BA Honours Graduate in History, working for 12 years as a dancer and choreographer with a global touring production as well as HR and recruitment. He joined Brightwater in April 2017 as Assistant Manager of the HR division before transferring to our Accountancy division as Principal Recruiter where he recruits for qualified accountancy professionals in industry.

Kyla Gillen

Recruitment Coordinator - Business Support

Having had a major hand in spearheading one of BW’s biggest temp recruitment projects to-date, Kyla’s progression from administrative assistant to recruitment researcher was a seamless and well-deserved move. This BW star has really outshone herself!

Kyla graduated from DCU in 2018 with a degree in Sports Science and Health. Having worked in hospitality for over five years, Kyla decided to move into the corporate world after graduating. Starting off in Administration, Kyla has now moved on to Recruitment Coordinator.

Emma Anglim

Associate Director – Business Support

Year on year, this luminary Director continues to operate her team like a well-oiled machine. With the highest number of temps out in ROI, Emma continues to blind us all with her standout performance!

Emma is an Associate Director within our Business Support division. Emma and her team have a proven track record in business support recruitment on a permanent, contract and temporary basis across a range of industries including banking, treasury, funds, insurance, aviation leasing, legal, practice and IT.

Karen Bellew

Consultant – Business Support

Our Northern star Karen has outperformed herself with having the highest ‘cluster’ of temp candidates contracted in NI. This marks another shimmering year-to date for an amazing member of the tribe!

Karen worked with the Civil Service for 5 years across various roles including administration, reception and customer service after which she spent 3 years working and travelling overseas. Upon returning to Northern Ireland, she spent a number of years in sales roles before joining the Brightwater team in October 2017 where she is now recruiting for temporary business support roles in Northern Ireland.

Simon Morris

Senior Consultant – Accountancy Public Practice

With an appetite for cooking and progression, Simon can successfully add ‘senior consultant’ next to ‘culinary maestro’ on his LinkedIn! Having progressed from consultant to senior within 18 months, Simon's cosmic enthusiasm and, of course, monthly culinary contribution to BNews, has added exponential value to BW group morale!

Simon holds a MBS from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at UCD, and a BA in European Business Studies from University of Wales Trinity St David. He joined Brightwater in 2017, having worked as Business Development Manager within corporate travel and owning a number of small businesses. Simon now recruits accounting professionals for the Public Practice & Tax sector where his clients range from small accounting firms to the Big 4.

Kim Cody

Senior Consultant – Compliance & Risk /AML

When it comes to raising a successful profile across compliance and, in doing so, making senior consultant in less than 20 months, BW’s Kim is simply star for the course. Exciting to watch the astronomical progression of a great employee!

Kim graduated from Trinity College in 2013 with a BA in Natural Sciences (Geology) and then completed an MA in Research (Marine Geology & Geophysics) with the University of Southampton. She spent nearly four years working in the geology sector before joining Brightwater in 2017 as a Consultant in our Compliance & Risk division. She now specialises in placing compliance & risk professionals into roles across a range of different sectors and positions including AML and fraud investigation.

Éadaoin Looney

Recruitment Consultant - Business Support

The Social Light of Brightwater, Eadaoin's willingness to actively engage with social media and multiple business development channels has effectively enhanced her glowing online presence! Well done Eadaoin!

Éadaoin holds a BA in Theatre and Drama Studies from CIT. She joined Brightwater in October 2019, following three years in Healthcare Recruitment. Éadaoin is a Business Support Consultant in the Cork Office. Éadaoin recruits on behalf of clients across a variety of industries including Pharmaceutical, Haulage, Legal, SME’s and large Multinationals.

Patrick Keeney

Consultant – Accountancy, Industry & Commerce

Recruiting and running at the speed of light, Patrick played a blinder by finishing the Dublin marathon in less than three hours!

Patrick graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA in Business, Management and Marketing in 2008. Having a keen interest in golf, he then spent a number of years working with a European golf tour operator across Ireland, the UK and Europe. With stints in hospitality and marketing both in Ireland and Australia, Patrick joined Brightwater’s Accountancy division in July 2018 where he recruits part-qualified accountants across industry and commerce.
