Brightwater Executive has been retained by a leading boutique asset management firm with over €3 Billion AUM across multi product lines. They now have an exciting opportunity to join their Real Estate division as their Head of Real Estate. Brilliant opportunity to oversee and manage a long-established property fund with a mix of QIAFs and ICAVs.  This firm is all about driving a strong, collaborative, and inclusive culture and has a very strong reputation and brand in the market. B

 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Oversee the asset management of existing properties including lettings, rent reviews, redevelopments
  • Maintain financial models for new & existing properties
  • Identify and propose new acquisitions to the Investment Committee / Board for consideration
  • Prepare Investment Management Reports for various Board Meetings quarterly
  • Ensure the external AIFM is kept fully up to speed on all key developments
  • Attend and present at quarterly board meetings for the fund
  • Prepare Fund Updates for investors in the Retail Fund quarterly; periodically update marketing material including the brochure typically half yearly
  • Meet and present to new & existing investors and assist with fundraising
  • Liaise with banks & debt providers and ensure debt servicing obligations are met
  • Primary contact point between AIFM, Administrator, Custodian, and the Board
  • Co-ordinate and escalate any specific issues arising from the management of the Fund
  • Review and liaise with auditors regarding financial statements
  • Work with Head of Operations to ensure KID and other relevant regulatory documents are completed on time and accurately
  • Leverage off the long successful track record in commercial over the last 30+ years and grow the property assets under investment & administration

Ideal Candidate Experience

  • 10 years+ in Commercial Property Investment Management (acquisitions, disposals, leasing, rent reviews, refurbishment projects etc)
  • Detailed knowledge of Financial Modelling
  • Extensive experience liaising with Banks & Debt Providers
  • Investment Report writing
  • Presenting to Investors and Boards
  • Understanding of Regulatory Funds like QIAIF’s & ICAV’s
