Mortgage Resolution Executive

About the Position

One of Irelands largest mortgage companies, are looking for a number of Resolutions Executives to join their team. You will join a collaborative team and focus on implementing appropriate solutions with borrowers who are in arrears. If communication is your strength, and you have experience in Arrears and/or collections with a solid understanding of mortgage regulations/CPC etc please apply below. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Contacting arrears customers directly to discuss possible long term sustainable resolutions to the mortgage arrears situation.
  • Establishing positive engagement and developing excellent customer relationships.
  • Dealing appropriately and empathetically with challenging arrears situations.
  • Adhering to Central Bank’s Regulations in the day to day management of cases, including Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears and Consumer Protection Code.
  • Explaining to borrowers the importance of prioritising the mortgage over secondary debt held.
  • Effectively managing a log of cases with a view to ensuring that the borrowers are directed towards the most appropriate solution for their circumstances.
  • Monitoring Alternative Repayment Arrangements that are put in place to ensure performance in line with the agreed terms of the arrangement.
  • Discussing disposal of the security with customers where the mortgage is not sustainable.
  • Managing the disposal of the security where the borrower agrees that this is the most feasible solution.
  • Dealing efficiently with incoming calls and correspondence.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with third parties, including MABS, Solicitors and customers’ debt mediators.
  • Dedicated case management to include the maintaining and monitoring of ongoing customer contact and follow-up of cases.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to monthly team review meetings.
  • Achieving demanding targets as set on a quarterly basis by the company.
  • Ad hoc duties such as general administration on customer accounts, and administration duties on internal projects.
 

Experience/Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years in mortgage resolution/case management within an ASU environment. Experience with loans arrears/commercial lending arrears is also acceptable.
  • Experience of working in an environment where several systems and databases are being accessed/used at the same time.
  • APA (Loans) qualification is required.

Remuneration Package

Salary 38 - 45k plus benefits. Permanent role. Hybrid working model offered.
