Accounting Team Lead
Brightwater are exclusively working on this Accounting Team Lead role. Joining a rapidly growing centre of excellence hub, this role will be instrumental in building out the function and developing a strong team. The organisation are located in Dublin city centre and will offer hybrid working.
Reporting directly to the R2R Lead the Accounting Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team to complete general accounting and financial reporting activities for multiple entities
•Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual general accounting/ financial reporting processes for assigned entities
•Manage responsibilities for statutory close/compliance processes for each entity within the regions.
•Manage both internal and external audits impacting regions (US GAAP, statutory, other)
•Apply a controls-based culture on financial oversight; identify and remediate control deficiencies as required..
•Comply with local accounting standards and business unit service delivery guidelines.
•Conduct business partnering activities across finance and non-finance (i.e. P2P, O2C) functions, fostering collaboration.
•Continuously identify process improvements and efficiencies.
•Function as a member of a team, demonstrating effective teamwork and relationship building.
•Set goals and objectives for the team and monitor against those goals.
•Motivate, empower and develop team members.
• Accountancy Qualification- ACA,ACCA,CIMA,CPA
• At least 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably from a centre of excellence or similar organisation
•Strong staff management experience and an interested in developing a high performing team
•Indepth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations- US GAAP
•Strong interpersonal and communication with ability to manage cross functional stakeholder and teams across all levels of the organization.
•Strong analytical and time management skills.
•Experience with SAP or another ERP system is a distinct advantage
