Client Service Administrator German 

About the Position

You’ll play a central role in processing all types of client service transactions related to our German customer and adviser base. This includes claims, servicing and query resolution. You’ll play a key role in delivering service within agreed service levels. You’ll also be involved in development of team processes and projects. There will also be an opportunity to work across all markets. This would suit a person who has a good attention to detail, is a clear communicator and has strong problem-solving skills. This is a varied role with extensive learning opportunities across the client services functions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide an excellent customer experience for all customers
  • Handle appropriate inbound and outbound communications from customers and advisers, and respond in a professional, friendly and standardised manner
  • Co-ordinate and take ownership of multiple requests for information which are referred to other areas of the company, keeping the customer informed at all times
  • Resolve complex customer and adviser queries
  • Process and administer all transactions on a ‘right first-time basis’
  • Contribute to development of processes and projects related to our German book. 
  • Work with colleagues to ensure consistency and the team’s performance targets are achieved and maintain service level agreements 
  • Adhere to compliance and risk rules & regulations and follow reporting procedures
  • Pro-actively support team and colleagues. Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in other areas of the company.
  • Adhere to training and competency policies
  • Participate in team building initiatives

Experience/Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years in a Client Service role preferably within financial services or life assurance industry
  • German language with fluent written and spoken English 
  • Excellent telephone technique and call handling skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing in German and English
  • Knowledge of the German life assurance industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Relevant industry market qualifications are desirable
  • Knowledge of Dutch language would be an advantage but not essential
