Human Resources Advisor

Our client is a teaching, learning and research organisation based in North Dublin. 

This is an initial 12 month fixed term position that is likely to be extended.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all HR record-keeping and filing is maintained to meet all legislative and policy requirements, including GDPR and Data Protection
  • Coordinate probation process
  • Review of all HR records held to ensure compliance with records retention policy
  • Preparation of payroll information and amendments
  • Review of job descriptions
  • Assist in induction programme for all new hires
  •  Assist in implementing policies and procedures
  • On boarding of new starters from issuing contract to collating starter documentation, hiring onto HRIS system and in payroll
  • Audit of completion of on boarding tasks and record keeping of process
  • Process any reference requests, bank and mortgage forms etc.
  • Maintain and ensure information on HRIS system CoreHR is correct and up to date
  • Manage leaver process
  • Other duties as necessary within HR


  • Relevant third level qualification in Human Resource Management or CIPD qualified
  • Previous experience in a broad HR Officer role for at least 2 years
  •  Knowledge of Employment law
  •  Knowledge of human resource processes and best practices
  •  Excellent IT skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, evidence of a high standard of administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written
  •  Must be discreet and keep information at their disposal in the strictest confidence

Remuneration Package

€30,000 - €35,000
