About the Company

Brightwater are exclusively working on this Financial Analyst Role. Joining a rapidly growing centre of excellence hub, this role  will be an integral part of the PMO team.

About the Position

Reporting to the PMO you role will assist with the tactical duties required to manage finacial budgets and vendor contracts, you will proactively engage with procurement, finance, IT and operations to streamline processes, resolve any issues and manage the day-to-day budget for the IT area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the IT function is following the correct process for all budgeting requirements.
  • Assist with the monthly accrual process
  • Assist with PO or invoice submission issues and work with the procurement operations team to solve issues
  • This role will assist with managing the annual budget for both Operational and Capital expenses
  • Coordinate with procurement operations, sourcing and IT to document and streamline financial management processes.
  • Prepare monitoring reports around actual and projected spend and work with the IT team to understand variances and collaborate on solutions to mitigate any spend overages.
  • Liaising with vendors in relation to queries
  • Various ad-hoc projects as required
 

Experience/Requirements

  • Qualifed/Part Qualified Accountant and/or Degree
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar Financial Analyst role
  • Very knowledgeable in accounting and terms and concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, accruals
  • Strong stakehilder management skills
  • Very skilled in using MS Excel and interested in learning around automation and how this can assist with streamlining reviews of actual spend vs. budgets
  • Excellant communiaction and listening skills
  • Project management/ process improvement experience would be advantageous
