Tax Director / Equity Partner – Indirect Tax, Dublin


My client, a leading accountancy, advisory and taxation firm based in Dublin has an excellent opportunity for an indirect tax senior professional to join their growing tax department who assists indigenous firms and multinationals with their VAT obligations. This role will be, in close collaboration with the tax directors and partners, integrally involved in business development activities, building relationships with existing clients and executing on inbound referrals.
 

Key responsibilities:

Working with partners and directors to develop and grow the firm's indirect tax service offering;
  • Advising on indirect tax aspects of advisory projects, covering domestic and international projects;
  • Developing indirect tax expertise of team members;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing a high standard of client service;
  • Commercial management of a portfolio of clients.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Significant management experience in a top ten accountancy firm or top law firm specialising in VAT.
  • Professional Tax qualification and/or ACA or ACCA.
  • In depth knowledge of VAT on property is desirable.
  • Enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems and determining innovative solutions.
  • Proven commercial awareness with the ability to generate new business while maintaining and developing an existing client portfolio.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
