Revenue and Cash Applications Manager

About the Position

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the activities of cash applications, revenue accounting, sales reporting, rebates & commissions, and 3rd party service providers
  • Understand and apply the organisation’s Accounting policy
  • Work closely with the Global O2C organization to help drive overall performance and process execution.
  • Assure work process & KPI adherence & leverage best practices within cash application and revenue accounting teams
  • Educate Controllership and Cash Application Team members on work processes and systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, including project identification, management, and implementation
  • Use and understand metrics to identify gaps and provide suggestions for corrective action
  • Provide continuous support to acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures
  • Set goals and objectives for the team and monitor against those goals
  • Actively and independently manage team and personal workload and escalate concerns to the R2R Lead
  • Motivate, empower, and develop team members


  • 5+ years of experience in Invoice to Cash work processes, systems, and tools
  • Supervisory / management experience in a collaborative working environment
  • Preferably CPA / CMA / MBA or PhD in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics OR, minimum of a 4-year degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
  • SAP Experience with S/4 and/or ECC a plus
  • Experience with Serrala or similar cash application auto-matching a plus
  • Effective time management and balancing of multiple competing priorities
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated process improvement capability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders customers
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and preferably other languages
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP – ECC and S/4HANA, preferred
