Recruitment Advisor / Talent Acquisition In-house

Our client is a global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory With over 2,200 people worldwide across 42 offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and America we have some of the most respected legal minds in their field.

The successful HR Advisor will deliver a high quality, proactive professional recruitment service for all offices in the EMEA region in order to attract and recruit high calibre talent at all levels, including Partner, in accordance with the Firms recruitment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of the full recruitment cycle (end to end recruitment) for Partner, Lawyer, Business Services and Secretarial Recruitment
  • Ensure recruits are of a sufficiently high calibre, by constantly reviewing the most effective/efficient way of sourcing candidates
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly with Partners and Managers
  • Create market maps and conduct thorough market research for Partner and senior lawyer recruitment
  • Influence Partners and stakeholders in relation to recruitment strategy
  • Manage the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) of recruitment agencies. Monitor and review performance of suppliers, negotiate rates and hold agency briefings
  • Provide ongoing external benchmarking and highlight any issues or market trends to the wider HR team
  • Ensure that headcount is managed to budget.

Experience/Requirements

  • Recruitment experience in a professional services environment
  • Good level of IT literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work at speed and balance a wide range of activities at any one time and at short notice
  • Ability to cope with the pressure of working in a fast paced, professional service firm
  • Possess the necessary gravitas and credibility to interact with Senior Management
  • Flexible and resilient with strong problem solving skills
  • Experience of direct recruitment and advertising campaigns, including social media
  • Committed, enthusiastic and innovative
  • Working knowledge of using an applicant tracking system
  • Good understanding of employment legislation as it relates to recruitment (in particular, fair selection process, restrictive covenants, discrimination etc.)

Remuneration Package

€60,000 - €70,000 plus excellent benefits
