About the Company

Our client, a global provider of investment and financial services software and a named to Fortune 1000 list as top U.S. company based on revenue are hiring. They are a well established organisation and technology team who have a great reputation in the industry and beautiful offices in Dublin City Centre with a remote working option. 

About the Position

This is a remote working role. It supports their software, which is  a real-time margin solution and flexible trading service that can be tailored to reflect their client’s risk appetite for collateral, margin definition, risk management, accounting postings, profitability and customer care.

This software can be integrated with a front-end trading/web solution and back-end accounting processing systems.

This role involves: 

  • Input into the production of test documentation for the client’s product (including plans and cases.)
  • Producing and executing test plans for all releases and patches of product.
  • Producing and tracking bug reports as necessary.
  • Liaising with Customer Support team to analyze and track external (Customer) reported bugs.
  • Liaising with Development team on bug status and release status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be central point of contact for assigned clients.
  • The ability to be the front line to interface with both technical and business resources at client sites to trouble shoot and resolve issues.
  • Support all client production problems including after-hours support as needed.  
  • The ability to work with Development departments to estimate enhancement work as well as generate Statement of Work documentation.
  • Prepare functional requirement documents for client enhancements. 
  • Train clients on new features and enhancements.
  • Produce Test Plans and Cases for product based on design and functional specifications.
  • Execute Test Plans and Cases.
  • Produce Bug Reports etc.
  • Report to manager on Release Status.
  • Identify potential improvement opportunities.


  • Understand Functional Requirements.
  • Ability to identify and analyse bugs.
  • Experience of MS Windows and web testing.
  • SQL Knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & Verbal).
  • Team Player.
  • University Degree in Computer Science or other Numerate Degree.
  • Min 5 years’ experience of Product Support or Software Testing

Remuneration Package

€50,000 to €60,000 per annum dependent on experience with a marketing leading benefits package!
