About the Company

Our client is on track to be one of the world’s first pure-play renewable energy majors. They have assembled a world-class team with over 215 years of combined experience in the renewable energy sector and have teams in APAC, Africa, Europe and LATAM.

About the Position

Ensure that the procurement team develop and strengthen connections with all stakeholders within the supply chain. You will report to the Procurement Strategy Manager working closely to identify and implement improvements within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the renewable supply chains

• Identify current and future strategic opportunities within the supply chain

• Reporting input on wind, solar and storage supply chains

• Communicate effectively to senior management and board to highlight improvements within the supply chain

• Identify, prequalify and develop relationships with critical component suppliers

• Incorporate supply chain considerations into the Procurement Strategy to create value

• Participate in project optimisation exercises by ensuring supply chain considerations have been evaluated with appropriate benefits and risks identified.

• Liaise and cooperate with all internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with the entire company to share ideas

• Manage quality of procurement documents


• Degree in Engineering or Operations/Supply Chain is preferred, Commercial qualifications would also be an advantage

• Experience in renewable energy power generation

•  Experience with international supply chain operations is essential

• Supplier relationship management experience would be an advantage

• Strong analytical ability required

• Excellent written and oral communications skills with an ability to communicate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Comfortable with a level of autonomy and demonstrate a passion for learning about supply chain developments within the renewable energy sector.

• Proactive in managing internal and external resources.

• Ability to use MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.

• Fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in other languages considered an advantage.

Remuneration Package

€45,000- €65,000 per annum depending on succesful candidates experience
