Associate Manager - Investor Services

About the Position

The Investor Services group provide administration for a number of clients, and their underlying investors. Duties include processing of trades, production of trade confirmations and contract notes, verification and accuracy of system input, client reporting, performing low and medium risk Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) reviews as well as adhering to AML, Automatic Exchange of Information (“AEOI”) and other relevant tax and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision, review and oversight of all Investor Services activities, including transaction processing, AML/Tax document collation/review, client/investor interactions, adhering to standard processes and controls at all times
  • Accurate and timely processing of transactions in line with KPIs and SLAs
  • Release of trade confirmations, contract notes and account statements by agreed deadline.
  • Production of client reporting in line with KPIs.
  • Respond to any client or investor queries efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond to fund and shareholder Audit requests efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance of shareholder files.
  • Collection and/or review of relevant AML and Tax documentation in line with company policies
  • Day to day supervision of team to ensure all daily deliverables are being met
  • Point of contact for allocated clients, attending client visits and in some cases, board meetings as required.
  • Arrangement, attendance and active participation in team and peer meetings
  • Identify need for new/modified procedures and assist in implementation to include handling of special processing situations, including documentation of exceptions that require strong oversight.
  • Active involvement in projects as they may arise across the department
  • To keep up to date in regards to the dynamic changes within the business environment

Experience/Requirements

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

 

  • A third level qualification in a Finance or Business-related area required
  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience required within TA/Investor Services, including 1-3 years in a supervisory position
  • Knowledge of fund structures and associated requirements, an advantage
  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet all of the above criteria, may be considered
