Senior Treasury Analyst

About the Position

This role will be responsible for mainly handling FX management for the Balance Sheet Hedge Program, related exposure forecasting consolidation and preparation for the monthly hedge processes. In addition, the role is the technical SME for Treasury and possesses a natural aptitude and interest in working with systems, complex technical set-ups related to different tools and systems and is mastering working in  Excel incl. macros. , SOX compliance, and support of various projects and Treasury initiatives are part of these roles. This role reports into the EMEA and NA Treasury Manager 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Responsible for monitoring and forecasting the Global EMEA foreign exchange exposures.
  •  Proactively implements a process to continually refine exposure forecasting to improve accuracy and process.
  •  Consolidating globally monthly balance sheet and cash flow exposures.
  • Front office for daily operational FX, FX hedges & money market deals.
  • Independently manage treasury accounting treatment including defining, posting and reconciling treasury items between the treasury system IT2 and the ERP system SAP ECC.
  • Driving and facilitating IT2 (TMS) or S4 Hana improvements and implementations including coordination of global roll-outs.
  • Operational focal point for external counterparties such as IT2, treasury consultants, auditors and internal related functions such as controllers & tax.
  • Treasury reporting & relevant SOX compliance tasks, forecasts and other reconciliations.

Experience/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting (or local equivalent)
  • 5-7 years Treasury related experience, preferably in a GBS environment
  • Working knowledge of Treasury and financial/accounting ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Treasury processes, principles and legislation requirements
  • Excellent Excel skills, IT flair, programming skills a plus (VBA);
  • Good understanding of basic foreign exchange markets and experience/knowledge with basic derivatives;
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures
  • Proven knowledge of systems, applications, operating tools, and metrics
