About the Company
 

Our client is a well-known and very successful Irish company. They have an immediate requirement for a Project Coordinator / Junior PM to join their team. This is initially a 6month daily rate contract but with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.


About the Position

 

Our client is looking for an ambitious self-starter to help drive a set of strategic IT projects in a high-growth business. This role is an initial 6-month term with a view to grow into a permanent role as their project requirements increase in 2022.

 

The primary purpose of this role is to work with their customers, technical resources, and project committee to help guide them through multi-phased projects, the change management process, and ensure they meet project milestones and goals.

 

  • Establishing and managing project timelines and objectives, driving them to timely completion
  • Tracking and documenting project details and progress
  • Working to drive projects to completion
  • Collaborating with our technical experts to scope the project roadmap
  • Partnering with internal teams to become an expert in Origina’s processes and service offering
  • Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deliverables
  • Assisting in completion of project milestones
  • Creating and managing detailed project-specific timelines to ensure deliverables are complete on time/in budget
  • Identifying and addressing potential issues or risks in collaboration with Chief Risk Officer

 

Experience/Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years of IT project coordination / project management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate peers and senior management 
  • Understanding and interest in the IT/’Tech’ industry and environment is an advantage
  • Exceptional coordination, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; articulate, confident and assertive
  • Solution oriented and inquisitive mindset, asking the right questions to find effective solutions
  • Experienced in coordinating multiple projects of varying scale in a dynamic environment
  • Process driven with a focus on quality and product delivery as well as exposure to risk management
  • Customer-centric attitude with an ability to liaise and communicate effectively with technical & non-technical stakeholders, both internal & external
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work with a wide variety of teams and stakeholders
  • Proven track record to meet tight deadlines, work with enthusiasm and positivity
  • Willingness and ambition to grow and learn new disciplines
  • Be flexible, agile, and resilient, with the motivation and interest to work in a high-growth, high-performance organisation
  • Demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to technical solutions
  • Qualification in (or working towards) PRINCE II or PMP would be an advantage

 

Remuneration Package

The rate is negotiable but initially €250+ per day depending on experience.
