Treasury Manager (EMEA and North America) (T002)

Brightwater has been appointed exclusively by our client Trinseo to search for a Treasury Manager (EMEA & North America) to join their Dublin team. The successful candidate  will have one direct report and be responsible for overseeing the exposure and hedging activities globally as well as support the Corporate Cash Flow Forecast and Credit Agreement related compliance activities.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for consolidation of monthly Balance Sheet & Cash Flow exposure reporting and forecasting globally
  • Front Office for daily operational FX & MM deals
  • Development and execution of hedging processes within approved hedge strategy for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Programs
  • Treasury Instruments Accounting Treatment including defining, posting and reconciling any Treasury items between the Treasury System IT2 and the ERP system ECC.
  • Driving and facilitating systems improvements and implementations including coordination of global roll-outs
  • Operational focal point for external counterparties, such as IT2 & Treasury consultants, auditors and internal related functions, such as controllers & tax
  • Treasury Reporting & Reconciliation
  • Monthly Treasury Dashboard for Executive Leadership
  • Focal Point for SOX and IA for any FX and Treasury Accounting related topics
  • Treasury FX related training internally for other functions
  • Working Capital Analysis
  • Business Free Cash Flow Forecasting
  • EUR Cash Flow Forecasting for Cash Flow Hedge Program
  • Debt Compliance Monitoring
  • Ad Hoc Projects
  • People leadership and development activities
Key Skills and Background:
  • 8-10 years Treasury related experience (preferably in a GBS environment)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting (or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of Treasury and financial/accounting ERP systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Treasury processes, principles and legislation requirements
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures
  • Proven knowledge of systems, applications, operating tools, and metrics
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, and customers
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • SAP/S4 experience beneficial
  • Additional European language an advantage, but not critical to have. For example, French, German.
