About the Company

One of Ireland's leading providers of Facility Management services has a newly created position for a Project Manager to manage multiple building improvement/remediation projects across Munster and Connacht. Due to the locations of the various sites the successful candidates location is flexible.

About the Position

In this role you will manage projects for a key client and be both customer facing and be responsible for the management of contractors on various sites. This role is field based and comes with a competitive salary and package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project procurement with the central supply chain team.
  • Ensure Projects are completed as per design and within developed schedules via use of strong solution base Project Management skills
  • Develop Project programmes with the technical experts and site teams.
  • Update and communicate weekly to all key stakeholders on significant issues, budgets, KPIs, works completed and conduct of works
  • Monitor and analyse project performance against clearly identified indicators and recommend future performance enhancements
  • Supplier Manage the subcontractors delivering the projects through rigorous plans and regular update meetings
  • Prepare the monthly management report for the project areas
  • Liaising with client and other support services
  • Liaising with the various stakeholders and sub - contractors and other facility and related contractors and personnel   


  • Significant experience in facility and project management in a large organisation
  • Drive projects to their successful completion not just report on them.
  • Experience in the seamless management of mid to large scale projects in regard to Building Services and the refurbishment of space.
  • Significant experience of managing suppliers, sub contractors and technical experts.
  • Aptitude for problem resolution and handling complaints
  • Project and time management
  • Finance management
  • Well-developed IT skills and report writing – MS project and Excel
  • Change Management experience
