About the Company

My client is a multinational telecoms company based in South Dublin.

About the Position

The Finance Business  Partner will report to the Customer Operation Director, senior management team & business division in relation to Care costs & Customer service strategy, supporting them with analysis and advice. Finance lead for the Ireland based Group teams, supporting them on the budgeting process. Supporting the Shared Service Centre with their monthly recharge to Group.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Key member of the Care Operations Management team, attending the weekly leadership meetings and proactively providing advice and guidance on ways to drive performance.

· Finance Business Partner to the Care Operations Director and his management team, supporting and advising them on all financial matters as well as having input into strategy.

· Business case decisions on the future direction of the Care strategy, fully assessing competing options and long-term impacts.

· Provide strategic advice on the optimal care strategy, highlighting the trade-offs that need to be made to optimise service within the available budget.

· Finance Lead for Digital, working with Care Operations to support implementation of the digital strategy.

· Business case the opportunities Digital provides, and the level of investment needed to support this.

· Work with Technology Finance team on the budget requirements to support digital expansion and the business case needed to justify the level of investment required.

· Advice Care Operations Director on corrective actions needed to manage spend and keep to the assigned budget. Drive a cost-conscious approach with Care Operations reviewing their level of spend across Opex

· Monthly reviews with cost center managers to ensure they are aware of their current performance and any corrective actions needed.

· Benchmark main KPIs (handling time, cost per agent, calls per agent, etc) vs other OpCos and other industry benchmarks to look for opportunities to optimise expenditure.

· Quarterly reviews with Group Finance counterparts, to ensure alignment of costs and if any corrective actions needed.

· Prepare budgets and forecast of level of spend needed to support Care Operations activities. Challenge business owners on the level of spend needed and implement KPIs to ensure efficiency is measured.

· Lead the development of rolling forecast and 3yr long term plans for Care Operations and guide the stakeholders through the planning processes.

· Lead and load the Group INCA costs at a cost center level.

Experience/Requirements

· Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 4-5+ years PQE

· Business Partnering Experience essential.

· Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills

· Planning, forecasting and budgeting experience

· Previous financial modelling experience

· Excellent PC skills with a very high proficiency in Excel.

· Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase would be advantageous.
