Sales Coordinator

About the Company

Our client a leading a logistics company based in west Dublin are looking for a sales co-ordinator for their Dublin office. This is a multinational company that operate in a fast paced environment with unlimited potential for progression and opportunity.

About the Position

This is a brand-new position, where your initial responsibility will for sales and commercial support. You will report into and be mentored by a sales manager with over 20 years’ experience and you will have the opportunity to progress into an account management or sales role

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Support the Account Managers – providing quotes, liaising with the Commercial teams, customers and depot(s) staff.
  • Running of relevant reports as required.
  • Act as a point of contact with customers in the absence of account managers.
  • Training – undertake off-site product training as required.
  • Manage the quote system in conjunction with the Account Managers.
  • Regularly update information on CRM system.
  • Liase with other sales staff to maximise sales opportunities.

 

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of monthly / quarterly sales
  • Plan, monitor and map your actions to support achieving the required targets for growth
  • Grow existing business by adding new products
  • Liaise with other commercial teams to maximise sales opportunities
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor’s activities in order to identify sales opportunities

Experience/Requirements

  • Two to three years sales administration or customer service experience supporting a commercial team
  • Proven track record in contributing to financial performance and sales teams within a competitive market.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Experience in administration, report compilation and CRM systems
  • Ability to build strong relationships (both internally and externally)
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work in continuously busy environment
  • Communicate well at all levels both internal and external

Remuneration Package

€30,000 - €35,000 - OTE - €40,000
