About the Position

This specific role Is within the Client Lifecycle Management solution area (Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Offboarding) and requires an understanding of the e2e process journeys, appreciation of stakeholder perspectives and common business needs.

This is a client facing role where you will need to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders on client site through excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. The candidate will also be expected to contribute back to the practice through various initiatives such as thought leadership, sales campaigns, and RFPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on transaction monitoring alerts:
  • Discounting of false positives/immaterial alerts.
  • Escalate suspicious activity to Compliance department for further investigation.
  • Perform data and trend analysis
  • Provide challenges and recommendations for process improvements
  • Support enhancement of key operating procedures where appropriate
  • Provide training and guidance to junior analysts
  • Provide quality control over junior analysts’ work and identify common error trends and training for junior members to improve quality of work
  • Provide subject matter expertise to analysts, Business and other internal departments as required
  • Ensure daily KPIS/SLAs set by Business are met
  • Support Bank to be compliant with their AML policies and procedures and regulations.


  • 4+years in financial crime and transaction monitoring experience essential
  • Experience of screening and ongoing screening monitoring beneficial – PEPS, Sanctions, Adverse Media
  • Experience in Suspicious Activity Reporting beneficial
  • Experience of KYC Due diligence process (CDD and EDD) beneficial
  • Experience of a broad range of entity types including Corporate entities as well as individuals essential
  • Experience of transaction monitoring within an Investment & Corporate Banking environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of EU AML regulations and ability to interpret regulatory requirements and align to business needs
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi task and prioritise work.
  • Ability to work in highly pressurised environment
  • ICA/CAMS certifications beneficial
  • Effective communication skills and senior stakeholder management skills

Remuneration Package

Permanent role.  €55k range with benefits package on top.
