Administration Manager – Engineering

Renewable Energy is the most talked about topic at the moment and we are currently working with one of Ireland’s leading consultancies who manage a number of utilities programs related to power, transmission and distribution and water. They are currently looking to recruit an Administration Manager who can assist in the administrative delivery of these projects.
This client is one of Europe’s leading names in energy and engineering and carry a reputation of quality and innovation in the areas of Renewable Energy.
About the Position
Working closely with all levels of management, you will become the main central support to an expanding and diverse team. Providing reliable administration, co-ordination, and organisation, you have a varied workloads across a number of different projects.
Experience/Requirements
Within this role you are will:
- Working closely with the project teams,
- Providing assistance with site visits, client visits, project meetings and organisation of other events.
- Supporting staff with timesheets, and, document management.
- Managing team training compliance,
- Assisting new staff with IT project set up, IT requests and project and programme inductions.
- Creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Supporting the senior finance manager with raising purchase requisitions, billing, supplier set ups, debtors and project level compliance and budget tracking.
- Managing the offices and ensuring facilities are available and items are restocked and available as required. Managing project office reception area and visitor’s induction process.
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies, in particular health and safety and quality processes.
- Providing general support to bidding and other business development activities
- Sending out communications and updates to the project teams.
- Performing other responsibilities and duties associated with this position, as may be appropriate and dictated by business requirements
For this role you are required to have:
- Experience in the engineering/construction
- Experience in a busy environment is essential.
- An ability to develop strong relationships with internal clients.
- Knowledge of CRM systems IT software
- Health & Safety experience
- The ability to priorities a large workload
- Knowledge of documentation management
- Worked in the Commercial/Industrial sector
