About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the foreign direct investment in the Property Division with specific responsibility for the Building Programme, Business Parks, Strategic Sites, Acquisition and Development in line with the business targets

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with the provision of property & infrastructural solutions resulting in winning new name greenfield investments, expansions and related Foreign Direct Investment projects ensuring they are in line with Divisional targets, Property Strategy and IDA’s Strategy: Driving Recovery & Sustainable Growth 2021-2024, and knowledge of the business area.
  • To manage the implementation of an agreed infrastructural and property investment programme
  • To drive, motivate and develop a team of executives in achieving the Property Strategy Implementation Plan
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of the regional property building programme
  • Deal with Local Authorities, Infrastructure & Utility providers and Consultants
  • Manage the procurement and contract documentation in line with Government Procurement Guidelines
  • Manage construction and site development projects and ensure they are delivered timely and within budget
  • Contribute to the formulation of Property related Strategy & Policy matters
  • Utilise the CRM to manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Research, prepare and present property related proposals to the Board, Committees and Government
  • Support the Department Manager in the implementation of the Property strategy
  • To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken within the performance management process
  • Drive effective client engagement in Ireland and at senior corporate levels
  • Contribute to the development of the division as part of the management team

Experience/Requirements

  • A relevant Third level Property or Engineering or related qualification is desirable and relevant experience is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • This role will require domestic travel and flexible working hours.
  • Ongoing flexibility and interest in international career progression and development is required.

Remuneration Package

€65,000 - €85,000 per annum depending on experience
