About the Company and Position

I am teamed up with an excellent client of ours - the world's leading investment management company as they are looking to fill a Technology Risk Management position. This is a permanent role that is accompanied by a great salary of between 70-90k and package which, I can disclose directly due to confidentiality. This company provides great development opportunities and exposure to a really exciting workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity advisory services and systems resilience considerations leveraging industry and leading practices, relevant strategic initiatives, and emerging technologies and trends.
• Facilitate risk assessments for development, system engineering and application security.
• Coordinate remediation efforts for risk and control issues and support issue closure or risk acceptances.
• Liaise with compliance teams in preparation for regulatory requests,
• Support key control committees and groups that govern technology risk
• Review and provide guidance on the company's technology and info sec policies and standards.

Experience/Requirements

• Awareness of software architecture and design, distributed systems, clean coding standards, Software Development Lifecycle, technology operations
• Grasp of industry practices, like DevOps / cloud, control frameworks like COBIT and ITIL
• Strong analytical skills having the ability to identify emerging risks, explain risk trends etc.
