Benefits Analyst EMEA - 9 Month Contract

My client is an American multinational computer software technology corporation, headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, that markets speech recognition and artificial intelligence software.

About the Position

As part of an international team, you will support the Total Rewards Team in EMEA across 13 countries. This role can be based remotely anywhere in Ireland and is an initial 9 month contract likely to be made permanent.

The Benefits analyst, as an integral part of the Global Total Rewards Team, will support the EMEA Compensation and Benefits Team to support in the activities of benefits and ensure employee’s Total Rewards are in alignment with company policies and guidelines, are competitive, and are compliant with legal and fiscal regulations in the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation.
  • Work with local and international teams to analyze, review, recommend, and obtain approval for changes to benefits at the country level.
  • Partner with our global broker and other vendors to ensure Renewal of Insurance Policies, obtain and provide renewal census data, and manage payment of invoices in timely manner
  • Coordinate benefits events – webinar, workshops, communicate with employees, resolve benefit-related issues, and collaborate with other departments and external vendors etc.
  • Assist with day-to-day benefit tasks and queries management as needed
  • Assist with global well-being programs and events and have solid understanding of wellness initiatives and/or trends in local region
  • Support the employee communications and updates on company benefits and compensation programs, through updating our internal website, support the preparation of newsletters, and direct communication with employees and local People team.
  • Processing of benefits invoices.
  • Work with Finance/Payroll team as needed
  • Responsible for the International Benefits mailbox and primary point of contact for EMEA employees on benefit matters.
  • General project management as needed, including participation in Compensation projects as a member of the Total Rewards Team


  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills,
  • MS office proficiency. Knowledge of working on Excel is a must.
  • Self-starter, efficient, organized and flexible attitude and approach to business solutions.
  • Team oriented with an excellent work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to prioritize while working on numerous activities.
  • Proven experience in a benefits role

Preferred skills

  • Prior experience in compensation will be an advantage, for example: knowledge of job evaluation and market pay research, merit, bonus and equity grant processes.
  • Prior experience working in Workday will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience working in Dayforce will be an advantage.
