Data Engineer

Summary

• As part of the IT Data team, you will have a role in the data integration process and build of the Data pipeline of the business
• You’ll work on travel Or Automotive data (Sales, Claims, …).
• You’ll be part of a team lead by a PM
• The mission includes:
  • Development of new Jobs
  • Maintenance of existing chains
  • Daily/Monthly Run
• Work closely with Tech Lead and Team Lead
• You will work directly with internal/external partners/providers (or affiliates) to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. You will have to coordinate with other departments (onboarding, operations, Business Line, Finance, ….) and involved EA entities to ensure all aspects are kept under control.

Main Responsibilities

Application follow up

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentations
• Incidents/bugs analysis and proposition of remediation plans
• Continuous improvement of the monitoring

Development/technical follow-up

• Manage the workload and report to the Team Lead regarding developments
• Maintain and Update documentation
• Develop following EA Standard
• Ensure that all tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Communication

• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Coordinate with the team and third parties for execution
• Manage relationship with affiliates or relevant internal/external stakeholders

Education, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information technology or equivalent work experience

• 2-6 years of professional experience, in Data/BI development teams. A strong technical knowledge is required (Talend/SQL), especially in the development of interface
• Strong IT knowledge on:
  • Talend (TAC is a plus)
  • SQL (PL/SQL and T-SQL)
  • Java, Python or similar
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects or Power BI is a plus
  • AWS technology knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of the agile scrum methodology
• Knowledge of business intelligence process
• Good Analytical skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English/French)
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
