About the Company

Our client is a family-owned company and the largest B2B specialist supplier of pre- cooked meat, plant protein, fermented and dried sausage ingredients outside of the U.S. 

About the Position

The planner will be responsible for satisfying customer demand by producing, monitoring, and driving achievable production plans and schedules based on the target run rates and yields for each product and line.  Working in a dynamic and fast pace environment with a well experienced and professional team. 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Detailed Schedule & Capacity planning in short-medium term horizon
  • Facilitate weekly scheduling and capacity review meetings with key internal departments
  • Collaborate with the onsite & off-site product Customer Interface Co-ordinators to ensure strong two-way communication on issues that may affect the supply to our customers
  • Ensure to release plan to Manufacturing areas Manager in line with capacity capabilities, production efficiencies, planning guidelines & customer demands
  • Co-ordinate with procurement to deliver in line with production plans
  • Create detail analysis in support of projects or improvements and provide recommendations
  • Responsible for commercial/manufacturing project updates, understanding all constraints and dependencies that can impact planning activities
  • Maintain close links with members of the leadership team, Senior managers, Supervisors and General Operators on all production related queries
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and all other departments to support their functions
  • Update Production Reports for weekly & monthly review

Experience/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent 3 years supply chain planning experience
  • Advanced experience and capability with Excel, Power BI Qualifications
  • Work collaboratively across multiple functions.
  • Effective communicator ensuring clear communications in writing but also in meetings expressing views and opinions
  • Self-driven and self-motivated
  • Good Team player and strong problem solver
  • Able to work well with all departments in a driven way
  • Flexible to the needs of the business
  • Results & Performance Driven with a sense of urgency
  • Strategic Thinking regarding future changes and production changes
  • Analytical problem solving, Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis
  • Ability to deal with and manage change and improvement initiatives
  • Ability to challenge with the aim of influencing positive change. Judgement skills and ability to leverage information.
  • Systematic and logical approach to work.
