Manufacturing Project Engineer
About the Company
About the Position
Manufacturing Project Engineer required for a leading Medical Device client in Cork, working on the introduction and validation of new equipment. This will be an initial 12 month contract, renewable each year. Due to the nature of the role, this will be primarily an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
Review and update validation documentation as required for your project. Change Control. Risk Assessment, User Requirement Specification, Design Specifications, Manufacturing control plans.
Meeting with other departments to ensure documentation meets latest standards and requirements. Quality, Validation, Automation, Process, Machine Safety
Execution of IQ/PQ/OQ/PV and relevant protocols and reports. Document deviations if required
Review and update of training material as required if new asset has different operation conditions
Review of risk-based documents. e.g. PFMEA & RA, and review with relevant departments
Updates to management of progress and/or detail any issues and delays
Schedule review meeting to ensure project stays on track and resources are available.
Learn how process works to ensure your asset will align with previous process step and future process steps
Experience/Requirements
Third level degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
1-3 years’ experience in equipment installations/facilities/commissioning or similar
Self-motivated, with focus on H&S, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Proven Root Cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
Must have
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and excellent organization and scheduling skills
Remuneration Package
Salary is negotiable depending on experience, range is €55,000 - €65,000.
