About the Position
The role of the Energy Engineer is to reduce energy consumption and CO2 generation at a busy manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain a process to verify that Gas Installations are safe to operate and are compliant with all National, Industry best practice, and Legal requirements.

Develop, Maintain and Progress the “will be” Roadmap to Carbon Neutral for the plant showing milestones and metrics on Energy.

Design and implement ongoing improvements in metering, monitoring and reporting to improve the understanding and control of energy and CO2 impact.

Design and Execute Energy and CO2 forecasting models to assist budgeting and planning.
Experience
-
Third Level in Science or Engineering discipline.

Certification / qualification in Energy / CO2 management.

Gas Systems, Schematics and combustion analysis experience

Demonstrable experience in delivery/participation in Energy Programs.
