Group Financial Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate and lead all Financial & Statutory Reporting in the Group.
Ensure smooth running of periodic / YTD reporting for internal stakeholders.
Timely monthly reporting / balance sheet reconciliations for the business.
Support the business in control environment/financial requirements.
Meeting deadlines for reporting, monthly close and all reasonable business deadlines.
Working with different members of different Teams within the group.
Ensure smooth running of the accruing, billing, and receipt of supplier income by the group.
Manages the Company FX Function
Manage the Accounts Payable function for overheads
Manage the Supplier Income Function
Supplier income, tracking, processing, and validation on a periodic basis.
Resolving issues from suppliers/buying issue as they fall due.
Partnering with different teams and departments within the group.
Generating cashflow improvements for the Group through continuous analysis.
Drive Supplier Income process improvements through project work, business education and continuous improvement mindset.
Implement a business control environment for supplier income tracking, recognition processes, payments, and approval procedures.
Lead Financial Team through team development, training, allocation of resources, continuous improvement, and evaluation.
Experience/Requirements
Qualified Accountant Qualification.
Minimum three years’ relevant post qualified experience in industry
Experience in Tax & Statutory Compliance.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Team Leadership Skills.
Time Management and Customer Service Skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to work on tight deadlines in a pressurized environment.
Ability to work accurately, with interruptions.
Team Player with the ability to work on own initiative.
Remuneration Package 55000 - 60000 + Pension
