My client a Dublin based asset management subsidiary of a leading European bank with a 20-year history and a fully digital DNA with a branchless approach since the start. They are one of the banks with the widest products range available and have developed a truly one-stop-solution which includes trading, investment and payment services. They have developed a 100% proprietary platform for trading and investment which covers all customer needs from trading listed and OTC product to investment product such as mutual funds and ETF.
About the Position
Reporting to the C.F.O. they are looking to add to their growing team a Management Accountant. This position is ideally suited to candidates who want to accelerate their career with a company who are experiencing extraordinary growth.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic professionals, reporting to the Company CFO to support the Finance function of the Company. Timeliness and accuracy is of the utmost importance in fulfilling this role. The principal activities will be
· BUDGETING & FORECASTING: Prepare, implement and review of expenses, assessing on periodic basis, difference against actual
· MANAGEMENT ACCOUNT: Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, audit and preparation of financial statements
· GROUP REPORTING: Preparing group reporting pack and responding to any queries from the parent company
· ACCRUALS MONITORING: Review accruals booked against budgeted amount for any over/under accrual and that it is correctly allocated
· PAYMENTS: Managing the payments process of the Company
· TAX COMPLIANCE AND REGULATORY RETURNS: Ensure correct VAT and Tax rates are appropriately recorded. Perform filing with Central Bank of Ireland and other regulators
· REPORTING: Preparation of periodic reports for CFO, CEO and Board of Directors
Experience/Requirements
Relevant Asset Management (preferable) or Banking Experience.
· Relevant Organisational/Process Management Experience
· PQE of 1 year is compulsory (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
· Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, able to manipulate long set of data in excel.
· Strong knowledge of financial products and financial markets.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong planning, problem solving.
· Well organized with strong time management skills.
· Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter.
Remuneration Package
· Salary €55,000-€60,000
· 15% Bonus
