Management Accountant

My client is a global aircraft painting company headquartered in North Dublin, with operating locations in Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and USA.

About the Position

We are looking for a motivated & proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team in this exciting new role to add support to both their current business and their future growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial month end close and reporting activities
  • Management of financial inputs
  • Booking of adjusting entry journals
  • Reconciliation of ledger accounts and project results
  • Preparation of financial statements and commentary 
• Support production and commercial department with budgeting and pricing
• Provide support to relevant departments/stakeholders to monitor performance
• Act as business partner to production department
• Assist with continuous digitisation & process improvement
• Audit and compliance support
• Support yearly budgeting process and reforecasts
• Purchase order approval management and cost control
• Internal audit and best practice support

Experience/Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years ACA, ACCA or CPA qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years post qualification experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of general production processes, variance analysis and profitability reporting
• Working knowledge of Sage ERP or similar ERP software
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Be solutions focused and a good problem solver
• Have a great work ethic, be motivated to take responsibility, and possess ambition to grow with the organisation
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness
• Possess strong analytical skills with focus on attention to detail
• Demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines
• Enjoy working in an exciting, challenging & fast paced environment  
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills
• Successfully collaborate with colleagues in all departments and build strong working relationships
• Enjoy learning about our business, market, and the processes behind the end product
• Be a self-starter, motivated & proactive 

Remuneration Package

• Salary €55,000-€62,000
• 15% bonus
• Health and Dental plan
• Pension
• Hybrid working
