Customer Service Administrator

About the Position

Our client, a leading tourism tour operator based in Dublin city centre are now looking to recruit for a customer service administrator for their team. This role requires an immediate start and is ideal for a candidate who has experience in the tourism or hotel industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate preparation of all files
  • Sending paper files to the relevant hotel or guide in a timely manner
  • Sending hotel allocation messages as required through the system
  • Sending hotel and visit cancellation messages as required through the system
  • Working in conjunction with reservations departments, hotels and suppliers on late bookings, no shows, go shows, etc.
  • Sending client cancellation notification and confirming hotel space for late bookings through the system
  • Collating returned guide files and distributing to relevant teams as required
  • Ensuring that an accurate record of all correspondence is kept for audit purposes (late bookings, cancellations, etc.).
  • Update and reduction of passengers numbers to certain visits that otherwise will charge penalties if not actioned. 
  • As directed, cancel hotels, evening functions, visitor attractions and all other suppliers in writing ensuring accurate records of same are kept on file.  Always being mindful of contractual agreement with supplier.


  • Two years administration experience ideally in the tourism or hotel industry
  • High level of application
  • Good administrative skills, computer literate (Excel, Teams and Word).
  • Multi tasking and attention to detail are a prerequisite for the position
  • Ability to work on own initiative (self motivator)
  • Strong interpersonal skills & telephone skills
  • Fluent verbal and written English a prerequisite for the position.
