Securities Associate

About the Company

A Large European Life Insurance company that executes cross border distribution of insurance products to several European markets are now growing out their Dublin Team.

About the Position

The Securities Associate position sits in the asset team and its purpose is to undertake due diligence and agree operational procedures for new custodians and asset managers. The ideal candidate will also cover on-boarding and review of asset investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for due diligence and assessment of risks with proposed new custodian and asset manager relationships
  • You will be responsible for ongoing control and monitoring of custodian and asset management procedures.
  • You will be heavily responsible for transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting obligations.
  • You will conduct regulatory trade activity reporting and monitoring
  • Preparation of comprehensive reports to the Investment committee.

Experience/Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a investment portfolio administration or similar role
  • Experience with Due Diligence of funds and Valuations
  • Experience of the features and operation of financial instruments, including derivatives, Alternative assets exposure including PE and structured products.
