About the Position

The Candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Irish commercial function and delivering on the business plan. Working at the center of the business the candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong commercial acumen and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The Irish Sales Manager will be reporting in the Commercial Director with responsibility for managing the external commercial team

Key Responsibilities

  • To Manage, coach, and monitor performance of all external sale representatives to achieve sales target, margin and organic growth set out in the budget.
  • Identify, together with Group Commercial, the key business development opportunities, risks and strategies that will maximize sales and profitability across all regions in Ireland.
  • Map out and nurture key relationships with decision makers and influencers
  • Alignment with Group commercial objectives and targets for key accounts.
  • Identification of leads and implementation of new initiatives to achieve targets.
  •  Lead generation that will allow for organic growth across different sectors and the management and distribution of the lead to all external reps.
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly review of all external sales reps and individual development plans.
  •  Managing core range sales pipeline and understanding changings in different market sectors.
  •  Build compelling Joint Business Plans with suppliers to ensure their full engagement in the internal business planning cycle.

Experience/Requirements

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in the sales of PPE or related consumable supplies into different business sector.
  • Have at minimum a 3rd level qualification
  • Ability to lead a team of external staff and work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • A track record of winning organic business within sector.
  • Ability to create and implement business plan
  • A working understanding of marketing, account development, supply chain and financial management
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in social media (LinkedIn), Microsoft office, Excel and CRM software

Remuneration Package

€50,000 - €60,000 plus bonus, company car, laptop and phone
