About the Company

Our client, a vibrant company based in north Dublin are looking to recruit for a HR Administrator. This role provides exposure to all aspects of HR and has a defined career path to a HR Generalist role. This role will be mainly office based

About the Position

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager and HR Support Team Coordinator, the HR Administrator will be a member of the HR Business Partner Support team and will provide support in the provision of HR service under the general areas of:

  • Recruitment and selection
  • Employee Permits
  • Payroll administration
  • Probation administration
  • General Human Resources administration

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Provision of comprehensive support for recruitment and selection
  • Assist in the review and amendment of recruitment and selection documentation, including policies and procedures
  • Assist in the review and possible application of new recruitment methodologies and media
  • Ensuring all CVs for Governing Authority are prepared to a high standard.      

Employment Permits

  • Assist in the preparation of hosting agreements and other employment permit applications
  • Upload employment permit information on the relevant database
  • Acting as point of contact with HR Business Partners and employees regarding the employee status of those employees requiring an employment permit.
Payroll Administration
  • Ensure all part time staff requisitions are processed accurately within the HR payroll timeframes
  • Assist where required on the completion of monthly payroll requirements such as the production and distribution of imminent action reports

General Administration

  • Provide administrative cover within the team as and when required
  • Collate data and manage communication relating to research funded audits
  • Amend and update the HR webpages
  • Participate in and support Team, Department and University wide projects
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Deputy HR Director and/or the HR Operations Manager

 

Experience/Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • A Leaving Certificate 
  • A minimum of one years HR Administration experience
  • 3 years’ relevant office experience

The successful candidate will be customer focused and will have excellent, organisation and IT skills with a high degree of proficiency in MS Word and Excel. They will be able to communicate effectively, will be flexible and demonstrate a high level of initiative, enthusiasm and energy with an ability to deal with high volumes of activities. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Remuneration Package

€30,000 - €40,000
