About the Company

My client is a successful and well-established company who provides solutions and services in workplace equipment, PPE and much more. They provide this service to clients here in ROI and the UK. 
The client I am recruiting for is growing and is one of the main players in their industry. The client is currently in the middle of an acquisition and is projected to double its headcount and increase its yearly revenue by 4 times over in the next 5 years. 

About the Position

The role will work in tandem with the new Finance Director of the company, there is already a strong team in place made up of a Accounts Payable, a Credit Controller, and an experienced Part Qualified Accountant. 
This is a great opportunity if you are a newly Qualified Accountant looking to get further experience in a senior role within a busy finance department that is growing. You will be managing a full set of accounts and have a direct line to the Finance Manager and Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts
  • Preparation of the Group consolidated financial statements
  • Consolidation of the Group budget for the management reporting pack
  • Responsible for acquisition accounting when required
  • Liaising with the external Auditors
  • Managing the Group month end accounting process
  • In-depth analysis of various cost & revenue centres
  • Work in partnership with management team across the company to identify the root causes of variances and to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Identification of trends and forward-looking analysis to support executive decision making
  • Develop and build annual budget and half yearly forecast models
  • Establish and maintain key metrics to help provide insights into business performance
  • Assist commercial and operational teams with pricing for tenders, new business, and any other business cases

PROJECTS

  • Work with finance team to upgrade ERP system to improve efficiencies and reporting accuracy
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of our financial processes and seek ways to add more value e.g. Tightening month end close, AP Automation, Royalty Automation, Stock Valuation integrity

Experience/Requirements

  • CIMA, ACCA or equivalent           
  • 1 Years PQE+ preferred
  • Commercial business partnering or group consolidation experience an advantage
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability of working under pressure
  • Strong IT skills
  • A collaborative cross-functional work style
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience an advantage

Remuneration Package

Salary 55,000-65,000 DOE
