About the Company
My client are a leading Global Healthcare group with multiple sites across Ireland. They develop, manufacture and supply a range of Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Medical Devices and Diagnostics Globally. They have a presence in Ireland with multiple manufacturing operations and commercial offices. Due to success and expansion plans at their Biologics facility in Ireland, they are hiring a number of QC Scientists to support their growth.
About the Position
Reporting into the QC team lead, the roles are offered on an initial 12 month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
To perform testing of in-process, final product, and stability for samples onsite using a range of analytical methods
To support the technical transfer of analytical test methods to and from the site
Create new and revise existing documents such as test methods, SOPs and material requirement specifications
Represent the lab globally and work with external contractors and vendors
To provide technical reports upon completion of projects
To participate in audits and ensure the site is inspection ready at all times
Experience/Requirements
A BSc / MSc / PhD in Science or related
1 - 5 years Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience in a lab setting
Hands on testing experience - preferably with ELISA or HPLC expertise
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well within a busy team environment and work cross functionally with other departments
Eligible to live and work in Ireland - onsite
Remuneration Package
Excellent contracting rates.
