About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting senior accountants with the monthly IFRS closing.
• Participate in review meetings on IFRS accounts
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly presentation pack for review by management.
• Responsible for assigned balance sheet accounts including preparation of monthly reconciliations & investigations.
• Assist with quarterly and annual regulatory & statutory reporting including quarterly CSO returns & supporting internal and external audits as required.
• Responsible for the quarterly & monthly tax deliverables.

Experience/Requirements

• Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
• 2 years+ accounting experience ideally in financial reporting
• Some experience of IFRS month end reporting / balance sheet reconciliations / Solvency II or regulatory reporting preferred.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP an advantage
• Valid work permit enabling applicant to work in the Republic of Ireland
