HR Manager

About the Company

The Company is seeking a Group HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources management practices and processes

About the Position

To execute the Human Resources Strategy for The Group and continue to develop this strategy for the future. Supporting the CEO and SMT in the development and delivery of the HR strategy for the Organisation. You will frame and deliver the daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, and relevant documents.

The HR Manager should be able to work autonomously and assist in more complex HR topics and provide key strategic guidance and input on HR issues to Senior Management. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure the HR department is organised and operates to attract, hire and retain employees. Ability to work proactively on your own initiative is a key factor.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Selection
  • Lead and manage recruitment and retention process and initiatives
  • Ensure the delivery of and advise on all aspects of the recruitment process from role
Training and Development
  • Develop and implement learning and development for all staff
  • Coordinate and support the development, implementation, and impact evaluation of Learning and Development (L&D) Programmes as part of the employee-life cycle and annual performance planning working with Line Managers and Staff.
Performance Management
  • Lead on the management of probation and performance reviews and management processes, providing advice to managers whilst ensuring adherence to employment law.
HR Administration
  • Management and update of the company’s HR Management System - HR Locker
  • Management and ongoing review of all employment contracts
  • On-going review and update of employment policies and procedures
  • Management and control of all employee data in line with European GDPR Requirements
  • Responsible for Payroll Authorisations and Approvals provided to payroll
  • Provide monthly reports to Board on KPIs
Employee Relations
  • Management of internal staff grievances and management of external employment claims
  • Lead and management on staff engagement initiatives
  • Support the CEO in driving the people and culture plan

Experience/Requirements

Qualifications
  • Third level qualification in relevant discipline
  • CIPD accreditation essential
Experience
  •  5 + years working in a HR role, at least two of which should be in a management position.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of core HR processes including recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management as well as contracts
  • Effective administration skills
  • Strong Competence in Microsoft Office suite and relevant HR systems
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law, HR Policies and Process
  •  Experience dealing with trade unions or IR issues
  • Strategic approach coupled with forward planning, organisation and process improvement expertise
  •  Excellent people manager, strong influencer, opinion leader and decision maker
  • Proven experience in building effective relationships

Remuneration Package

€50,000 - €60,000 with excellent benefits
