Financial Accountant

Our client is a cross border Life Insurance company supplying investment solutions to high-net-worth clients across Europe. They have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This position would suit a recently qualified Accountant, trained in a Top 10 accounting firm looking to make the move into a broad accounting role within a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of the finance month end process
• Produce financial accounts for management review
• Monthly reconciliations to ensure the accounting system is complete and accurate
• Produce quarterly department performance reporting for the function heads
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
• Liaise with external auditors
• Ensure processes and controls are documented, adhered to and provide recommendations for any gaps in controls.

Experience/Requirements

• Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Trained within a top 10 accountancy firm.
• Relevant experience working within Financial Services an advantage but not essential.
• Self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative and a willingness to learn
• Strong inter-personal skills

Remuneration Package

• Salary €55,000-€60,000 depending on experience
• 25 days holidays + 2 additional days with service
• Health insurance

• Pension 8%
• Hybrid working
