My client who is a highly established and esteemed law firm based in Dublin City has a global footprint and is hiring an experienced Accounts Billing Assistant to join their Finance team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a well-known global brand that has an excellent track record of promoting within.

About the Position

This job as a Billing Assistant processes the bills for the client's business, using their financial system to ensure smooth and effective billing operations for their Dublin based company secretarial and global funds registration teams as well as the general billing for Dublin clients as well. 
The client offers hybrid working, a salary of 45-50,000, an excellent health care package, and other great benefits as well. This is also a great opportunity to be part of a well-known and distinguished law firm that promotes within. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Update the client's financial ERP systems based on fee earners' input or liaise with their Finance teams to complete related tasks
  • Generate draft and final bills for review, checking for accuracy and returning to partners and internal teams for dispatch
  • Monitor and maintain the security of the system and data 
  • Keeping up to date relating to changes in EU VAT regulations
  • Interface with client contacts and build relationships to deliver excellent service and enable effective client billing
  • Respond to all client queries, e.g. regarding breakdown of fees and disbursements or timing of bills, following up and resolving issues to encourage prompt payment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Coordinate client invoicing using e-billing with US-based headquarters

Experience/Requirements

  • Previous experience with a legal practice background would be a distinct advantage for this Billing job
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills , Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, experience using accounting software or law firm packages would be a great advantage 
  • Excellent customer service skills with previous experience operating within a professional service environment and liaising with clients 
  • Secondary education is required, additional education or equivalent experience an advantage
  • Ability to interact with legal and administrative personnel at all levels

Remuneration Package

Base salary 45,000 - € 50,000 & Hybrid working, healthcare and other company benefits
