Office Manager

About the Position

Our client a leading city centre based PLC are currently hiring for an Office Manager for their Dublin 2 based head office. The Officer Manager will coordinate and oversee administrative duties in the Group’s head office and ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly. This will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and flexible start times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
  • Manage office supplies and place orders as necessary
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
  • Deal with email correspondence and queries
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary maintenance and repairs to meet
  • health and safety regulation standards
  • Liaise with building management
  • Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including secretarial duties, research
  • and reports
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Booking flights, transport and accommodation for staff members and Board Members
  • Oversee staff leave requests and expense reporting
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like Board Meetings, parties and celebrations


  • 3 + years proven experience as an Office Manager
  • Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Familiarity with email scheduling tools and video conferencing (eg. MS Teams, Zoom)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional approach with attention to detail
  • Reacts well to challenges and anticipate needs
  • Initiative and ability to progress tasks independently

Remuneration Package

€35,000 - €45,000 plus healthcare, pension, bonus and share award scheme
