Brightwater are an established, multi-award-winning recruitment group. We have been operating for the last 24 years in Ireland with specialisms across Professional Services and Technical Services. We have 45 staff in Ireland (including 30 consultants) across Ireland and the UK. 

About the Position

Reporting into Tom, Brightwater’s Financial Services Division Head, you will work as part of the Brightwater Financial Services team to support our continued success and growth to meet our clients needs, provide a range of recruitment services and work on a number of exciting projects. You will partner with leading financial services and Insurance clients across Ireland, Europe, the UK and the US.

Key Responsibilities

360 recruitment (full cycle / end to end recruitment):

  • Engaging with clients to discuss hiring requirements and market trends
  • Sourcing and Screening Candidates
  • Scheduling, Coaching and Managing candidates through the Interview Process
  • Negotiating and Closing Offers
  • Making Placements across a range of recruitment services
  • Attending networking events and conferences 
  • Becoming an industry expert in Financial Services/ Insurance and building your brand

Full Induction and Training programmes are offered in Brightwater when you join. We have excellent internal support functions within the business that support our consultants (IT, Administration, Marketing and Finance).


  • Nice to have : A BSc or MSc in Business, Finance or relevant industry field qualification 
  • Previous recruitment experience OR Commercial Insurance, Financial Services/ Customer service experience
  • Experience working to sales targets or KPI’s
  • Great communication skills and an ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship builder - you must be genuinely interested in people and be naturally curious
  • Good IT skills
  • Good project management skills and highly organised
