My Client, based in South Dublin, is the largest Irish-based family owned distributor of leading professional skincare brands. About the Position

They are currently looking to add to their team a Bookkeeper to assist the Finance Director with all accounting processes within the company

Key Responsibilities

· Preparation and issue of monthly statements, reminder letters, copy invoices.

· Monthly reconciliation of debtors ledger

· Daily posting and allocation of cash book to debtors ledger including wholesale and web retail sales including bank transfers, realex payments, paypal and gocardless.

· Matching supplier invoices with POD’s.

· Investigate discrepancies on POD’s and corresponding invoices.

· Deal with supplier queries.

· Reconciliation of accounts to Supplier statements.

· Preparation of payment run’s to staff and suppliers.

· Posting of cheque and bankonline payments to creditor ledger.

· Bank reconciliation in Euro, Stg and Stg visa account.

· Reconciliation of visa statements

· Preparing and issuing various sales reports to management.

· Calculating budgets for each of the sales reps on a monthly basis and weekly basis.

· Updating the treatment costings for each of the brands on an annual basis.

· Prepare sales target spreadsheets for sales representatives and upload new sales targets into SAP on an annual basis.

· Assist with promotional offers, and price increases on an annual basis.

· Collect and process expenses and visa’s for sales representatives and directors.

· Prepare and present the weekly sales for the weekly operations meetings.

· Ad hoc reporting as required.


  • At least 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ambitious with an ability to work alone when needed.
  • Motivated, show initiative and willing to learn.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Experience in using SAP and Power BI would also be an advantage

Remuneration Package

  • Salary €40,000-€45,000
