Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Professional / Manager to operate and develop their business further in the South-West of Ireland. The client is an innovative, rapidly growing, and forward-thinking FMCG business and aim to become Ireland's most sought-after supplier in their sector.

They already deal with a wide range of high-profile customers based here and are looking to extend their profile in the south-west to support the next phase of their growth. About the Position

  • Working with the Sales and Marketing Director you will have ownership and oversight for the development and delivery of the sales strategy & processes to deliver success
  • Regular informed planning & communication with all key stakeholders.
  • Be an ambassador with internally and externally for customers and colleagues alike.
  • Lead by example at all times and become recognised as the ultimate professional, looking to challenge the status quo at all times to enhance your personal performance and the performance of others.
  • Support the drive to a culture of best practice across the sales team of twelve, to become recognised as best in class throughout Ireland.
  • Build "win-win" working relationships with all key customers
  • Implementation of customer performance management
  • Resolution of commercial issues and ongoing process improvement to deliver value for all parties.
  • To be successful in this role, you are a motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent preferable.
  • You should have a demonstrable track record in achieving stretching sales and profitability targets. A strong negotiator, you will always be looking to achieve “win-win” with customers.
  • You should be a strong team player and a highly effective communicator at all levels.
  • You should be engaging, assertive & confident with exceptional listening skills. In terms of personal qualities, you should have an appetite to develop your own skills, strengths and experiences and be a dynamic individual who is uncomfortable with the status quo.
  • Advanced excel and MS Office skills
  • Able to demonstrate a wide range of sales and negotiation techniques
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in packaging and/or other consumable sales ideally..
  • Highly competitive remuneration available for the successful candidate to include base salary and performance bonus plus senior leadership potential for the right candidate. 
  • With travel to Newry expected on an ad hoc basis throughout the month, following your training period.  

Remuneration Package €50,000 to €60,000 plus Car and Annual Bonus
