About the Company

My client, based in Central Dublin, provides a full suite of services to companies incorporated in Ireland for structured finance and aircraft leasing transactions. These services include the establishment, administration and accounting services. They also provide Trusts for aircraft financing and other substantial transactions. They are looking to add to their team a Part Qualified Accountant.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining the financial books and records for a portfolio of aircraft leasing and securitization transactions.
  • Ensuring that all obligations (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) which are the responsibility of WTD under the transaction documents are fulfilled.
  • Monitoring the obligations of all parties under the transaction documents on an ongoing basis
  • Preparing audit files for submission to the auditors and dealing with any queries that may arise during the course of the audit.
  • Preparing the statutory financial statements.
  • Completing VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns where necessary for client entities.
  • Dealing with the tax advisors in relation to the annual tax return (CT1) and other required tax returns.
  • Assisting with the completion and filing of FVC returns for the relevant entities.
  • Ensuring all bank statements, invoices and other financial records are received from the relevant counterparty.
  • Liaising directly with the asset manager, trustee, account bank, auditors, lawyers, and other service providers involved in the transactions
  • Scheduling audits to ensure all deadlines (CRO, ISE, transaction) are met.


  • An experienced part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA etc) the candidate will have the necessary drive and experience to gain the respect and trust of clients and counterparties.
  • Experience in the preparation of management accounts, the related annual statutory financial statements and dealing with queries from the auditors.
  • Willingness to adapt, a flexible approach and a desire to take on extra responsibility and workload.
  • Excellent communication skills are required as the individual is expected to maintain close relationships with clients and other professional advisors involved in the transactions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant accounting standards.
  • Strong IT skills are a pre-requisite including Excel and Word

Remuneration Package

  • Salary -€45,000-€55,000
  • Hybrid Working
  • 25 days holiday p.a. plus bank holidays
