About the Position

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Financial Services, you will manage the Credit products over the full product lifecycle. You are the first line of defence, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements. You will likely have one or two product roles behind you, strong leadership skills with exposure to both consumer finance and mortgages. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring product compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation and industry best practice in conjunction with the Compliance Manager;
  • Being responsible for the end-to-end product journey and operational processes;
  • Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure delivery and optimisation of all product change, operational processes, systems, infrastructure and resources;
  • Instigating, analysing and interpreting detailed customer, competitor, complaint and market analysis to drive decisions and recommendations;
  • Owning, maintaining, developing, driving and enhancing product P&Ls, KPIs, dashboards and reporting;
  • Providing timely and accurate forecasts to operational teams;
  • Identifying, validating and owning business cases and setting clear requirements for strategic and tactical product changes/launches;
  • Holding responsibility for the development, delivery and refresh of product strategy for Credit Products, including participation choices in new / existing markets;
  • Participating in Credit Products governance forums providing regular, accurate insight and recommendations;
  • Cost/benefit and risk analysis;
  • Providing clear, timely and accurate requirements for the delivery of BAU change
  • Relationship management
  • Providing leadership to direct reports


  • Substantial experience in a regulated F.S environment, ideally Credit Products
  • QFA/APA loans module
  • In depth third party supplier management experience
  • Consumer Finance/Mortgages experience 

Remuneration Package
