My client are a Global Biotechnology company that develops, manufactures and supplies medicine worldwide. They have an impressive product portfolio, with a significant drug development pipeline + clinical trials across a range of therapy areas. They have a presence in Ireland with manufacturing operations and corporate offices. They are passionate about innovation and delivering life-altering medicines.

About the Position

The Quality Senior Director will be based onsite at my clients state-of-the-art biologics facility in the Munster area. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is Quality minded with demonstrated leadership capabilities and passionate about GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities 

  • To promote a Quality culture onsite
  • To lead and manage quality teams across various levels 
  • Lead and support when regulatory inspections and internal audits are being conducted
  • To support all areas of Quality for successful production onsite 

Experience/Requirements 

  • A BSc / MSc in Science, Engineering or related
  • 15+ years industry experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology space 
  • Previous Biologics or Steriles experience 
  • People management / leadership experience 
  • QP qualification desirable but not essential 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent English speaker
  • Strong influencing skills, highly organised and action-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Ability to be based onsite (4 days a week)
